Vintage: 2021

Organoleptic Characteristics: Complex, dry and ethereal wine. The color appears intense garnet, the nose mixes fragrant notes of rose and violet accompanied by hints of sweet spices and light cocoa. In the mouth it is harmonious and soft, although embellished with noble and evident tannins and characterized by a long finish.

Vineyard:  is twenty-five years old and it is located in the prestigious Barbaresco territory, at 240 metres above sea level.

Soil: clayey-calcareous.

Exposure: south, south-west.

Training system: classic guyot.

Production: 80 quintals/ha.

Vinification: carried out in steel tanks, with the emerged cap system and with the maceration of the marc for about 13 days. The fermentation temperature is controlled and maintained at around 28 °C. Malolactic fermentation takes place at the end of fermentation and after racking. Aged 2 years in 20 hectolitre oak barrels, then 6 months in the bottle.
