Denomination: Barbaresco DOCG Riserva

Organoleptic Characteristics: Garnet colored wine with ruby reflections, very silky and elegant, the nose opens with dried flowers and not very ripe cassis, mentholated and root notes with hints of bark, coriander and ginger. In the mouth it is characterized by a present but not aggressive tannin well accompanied by a fresh acidity, broad and warm for the important alcohol content.
Vineyard : located in Barbaresco, planted in 1970 with a density of 3,000 vines per hectare, at 240 m above sea level
Soil: clayey-calcareous.
Exposure: south.
Training system: classic guyot.
Production: 80 quintals/ha.
Vinification: in steel roto-macerators, with a 6-day fermentation at a controlled temperature of 29°C, the racking is completed with the transfer to large 20 hl barrels, where the malolactic fermentation takes place.
Aging: 36 months in large 20 hl Slavonian oak barrels, followed by 12 months in tonneaux and 6 in the bottle.
