Denomination: Barbera d'Alba DOC Superiore

Vintage: 2021

Organoleptic Characteristics: wine with a bright ruby red color tending to garnet after aging. Vinous aroma, with hints of red fruit, cherries in alcohol, sweet spices and tobacco. Full and harmonious taste. It has a notable persistence of taste, encouraged by the fresh acidity.

Vineyard : located in Diano d'Alba.

Soil: calcareous-clayey.

Exposure: West.

Training system: classic guyot.

Production: 100 quintals/ha.

Vinification: in steel tanks, with 12 days of maceration on the skins and frequent pumping over. Malolactic fermentation also takes place in steel.

Aging: 12 months in large 20 hl Slavonian oak barrels, followed by 6 months of rest in the bottle.
