Denomination: Barolo DOCG Bricco San Pietro

Organoleptic Characteristics: Fine wine , dry and with great structure, which presents itself with an intense ruby color with garnet reflections. On the nose hints of ripe red fruit and black pepper, with marked notes of undergrowth. In the mouth it is full, warm and persistent, with present but well-balanced tannins.
Vineyard : approximately 30 years old, located in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, at an altitude of 360m above sea level
Soil: clayey limestone.
Exposure: south-west.
Training system: classic guyot.
Production: 65 quintals/ha.
Vinification: carried out in steel tanks, with the emerged cap system and with the maceration of the marc for about 20 days. The fermentation temperature is controlled and maintained at around 28 °C. Once the malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine is placed in wood for refinement.
Aging: 32 to 36 months in 20 hl Slavonian oak barrels depending on the vintage, then a minimum of 6 months in the bottle.
