Denomination: Barolo DOCG Riserva

Vintage: 2018

Organoleptic Characteristics: Fine wine with a bright ruby red color with light orange notes; rich, complex nose, floral notes enhanced by a basically new wood. Rich, sweet, thick, tannic, rough and powerful taste.

Vineyard : 40 years old, located in Monforte, 340 m above sea level

Soil: rich in clay and calcareous sediments.

Exposure: south, south-west.

Training system: classic guyot.

Production: 80 quintals/ha.

Vinification: maceration of the skins in stainless steel tanks. The must remains in contact with the skins for 20 days during which alcoholic fermentation occurs. After 3/5 months in steel and after having carried out malolactic fermentation, it is racked several times.

Aging: 48 months in 25 hl Slavonian oak barrels and at least 16 months in bottle.
